One thing you can do is take the Climer School of Real Estate two day state exam review class. Some people call this the cram course. This course is not required by the Florida Real Estate Commission. This is not the only review class in town but it is certainly the best review class in Orlando. We teach this class in person at 5104 N. Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. We have it on audio discs. We have it on video discs. We make it as available as we can. If you would like a preview, we have nine real estate math videos on You Tube. This is the math that is on the Florida real estate exam. It is free. Our user name is Climer School. Go to You Tube and watch these nine ten minute videos. You would not believe how many people take the Florida real estate exam and fail it with a 73 or 74. They got eight out of ten or seven out of ten on the math. You know that has got to make you mad and it costs $31.50. If you watch my free videos, you will get a ten out of ten on the math. If you don't quite follow it the first time, watch it again. That is the beauty of recorded video.
The second thing you can do avail yourself to the Florida Real Estate Exam Manual. At Climer School of Real Estate, we call this the "skinny book". This is a wonderful study aid for the Florida real estate exam. It is a outline of the textbook that we use for our FREC course one with four hundred practice questions. If you only invested in one study aid, this would be your best choice.
The third thing you can do is make yourself some flashcards. If you have not done this yet, for what are you waiting. This is free. This is easy. Get some 3x5 cards and make your own flash cards. On the front of the first card, write "Four ways to handle conflicting demands on escrow funds". On the back write, "mediate, arbitrate, litigate and EDO". Play with these in your spare time.
This is worth keeping in mind. If you arrive at the Pearson Vue exam site to take your Florida real estate exam at 2.30, your appointment is at 3.00, spend those few minutes reading the glossary of your textbook. Many of the questions are vocabulary. Reading the glossary is a great "last minute" study effort.
